The Black Graduate Student Association at MIT was founded in 1976 with the support of John B. Turner (who was assistant dean at the time). Our mission is to promote the cohesiveness and success of African, African-American and Afro-Caribbean graduate students at MIT.
BGSA hosts different types of events. We host community lunches, bowling outings, workshops, and more.
If you are interested in joining BGSA, or if you would just like more information, please contact us.
